For Dial-up, if Outlook Express disconnects from the
internet after sending and receiving email: You
may be surfing the internet while Outlook Express is downloading all your email. Or maybe you are just waiting on your mail

Outlook Express open, do so
- Click on Tools
and Select Options

tab at the top
- Remove the check
mark beside "Hang up after sending and receiving"
- Click on Apply
and then on Ok

or Outlook Express

-

on Tools in the menu bar at the top and select Internet Options
-
Click
on the Connections tab
-
About
in the middle, make sure "Always dial my default connection" is selected
-
