Here are a few links to information and downloads I use often. Some are hard to find and are here so I can access them if I am away from my computer. Some are very easy for me to find, but I have placed them here for others to use.

This list will grow and I will try to keep it updated. If there is a bad link or you have a helpful link to add, email me and let me know.

  • PowerPoint Viewer 2007 You don't have to buy PowerPoint to view the PowerPoint Presentations (filename.pps) from emails that you have received. Install this program directly from Microsoft's web site to view them
  • Drivers for Kingston USB Data Traveler
  • Downloads for Lexar products
  • Google Toolbar and free popup stopper This is a must for Windows 98/ME and it can be added to Internet Explorer for Windows XP computers. This can be included with other software downloads. FireFox has a version that can be added to it at the Mozilla web site
  • FireFox web browser
  • Adobe Reader is needed for a lot of online and downloadable manuals. It's free and you can get it here. Note it is for XP but you can change the operating system
  • Adobe Flash Player is another downloaded needed for a lot of web pages now. If you want to do the the online speed tests, you will need this
  • Speakeasy Speed Test is one of my favorite speed tests web sites
  • AVG Free anti virus program Yes, a free antivirus program, it is for home use only and not for business use. It is anti-virus only and there is no Tech Support on the free version. If there is a program upgrade you have to uninstall and reinstall the new version.
  • If you want any of the options to AVG, have Tech Support and the program upgrades that install automatically, I am a reseller of this product and sell licenses for it. Please contact me to purchase so I can keep my quota up.
  • Ad-Aware Anniversary Edition 8.0 Scroll down the page a ways to find it. It doesn't prevent ad ware getting on your computer, only removes it and it is free. The first mention of Ad-Aware 2008 will take you to the pay for version. During installation you have to cancel on register serial number.
  • Spybot Search and Destroy 1.6 It doesn't prevent spy ware getting on your computer, it only removes it and it is free
  • Malwarebytes It doesn't prevent malware, but it does an nice job removing it and some viruses and it is free. I do like this program and it has fixed serveral computers for me.
  • SUPERAntiSpyware Sounds like one of those fake programs that mess up your computer, but never fear, it is okay. I have used it serveral times to fix a computer. And it is another free program.
